P.J. Oswald Biographical Information

There's nothing that ignites a sense of God's movement and grace like seeing his Church transform the world-- at least not for Philip "P.J." Oswald.  He has spent over a decade in local church and parachurch communities, serving in youth ministry, preaching, teaching, short-term missions, and mentoring roles. Following conviction that the Church must reclaim its heritage as the contagious, grassroots gospel movement first pioneered by Jesus, he and his wife Erica planted a cell church known as The Mustard Seed Community. They live in Sacramento, CA with their daughter Kalista.

P.J. serves as Director of Enrollment Management and Marketing at Western Seminary, where he also teaches the course Discovering and Developing Your Ministry Potential as an adjunct faculty member.

P.J. completed his B.A. in Classical Civilizations at University of California, Davis, and his Master of Divinity at Western Seminary Sacramento Campus.
